Policies and Procedures
We invite you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment so you can begin the relaxation process.
Clients provide a health history and
update when necessary. This helps us to give you the most out of each session.
As a courtesy to our clients we allow cancellations up to 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time without fee or penalty. As a courtesy to Harmony Massage we ask that you give us as much notice as possible.
No Call No Shows will result in a $50 fee that must be paid prior to the scheduling of future appointments. Clients who repeatedly no call no show will terminate the client therapist relationship with Harmony Massage, and Kathryn Perkins, LMT.
As a courtesy to our clients who may have appointments after yours, appointments begin and end on time. Please let us know if you will be late for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes, and have not reached out to us this is considered a "no show". If there was an emergency please let us know and we will work with you to waive the $50 fee.
Payment is expected at the time
service is rendered. We accept cash, and all major credit and debit cards. Harmony Massage is no longer able to accept checks.
Intoxication, drug use, misconduct, solicitation, or suggestive language will result in termination of the treatment and charges for the service in full will be assessed.
During your session if you would
like to chat we will chat, but if you prefer to relax in silence we want you to
feel comfortable in doing so.
Speak up! Please speak up. Any questions or concerns, if the music is too soft / loud, if you are too hot / cold, the pressure is too deep or not deep enough anything please tell us and we will do our best to make you as comfortable as possible.

I provide my clients with a competent and professional session each time they come for an appointment, addressing the client’s specific needs for that session.
I am available to my clients between the hours of 10 AM – 8
PM, and clients may schedule an appointment on my website through Genbook 24
hours a day. If I cannot answer my phone, leave a message or send a text and I will return
your call within 24 hours - unless, I am out of town. Please do not repeatedly call my phone, this overrides the do not disturb feature that I utilize on my phone while in session and may interrupt a clients session. My clients and potential clients are very important to me and I will return your call as soon as possible.
I do not provide direct billing for insurance. I will gladly
assist clients in filling out the appropriate forms. Insurance billing requires a prescriptions from a medical doctor.
Appointments are confirmed the day before the session. If
appointments are made the same day as the appointment, or the day prior no confirmation is given. Appointments made online are confirmed by Genbook via email, if you would prefer a reminder call for your appointment please specify when booking.
I customize my treatment plans to meet the client’s needs.
I stay current with information and techniques by receiving regular sessions (for the same service I provide) and taking at least one workshop per year.
I respect all clients regardless of their age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, body type, political affiliation, state of health or personal habits.
Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
My massage space and equipment is kept clean and safe, adhering to Salt Lake County Health Department standards.
Personal and professional boundaries are respected at all times
I maintain my professional license to practice massage
therapy through the Utah Division of Professional Licensing. My massage license number is: 5819755-4701.
I do my best to schedule all of my appointments 30 minutes apart so that my clients have time to ask questions before and after our session. This also allows extra time to be given to my clients when needed.
I offer the ability to purchase gift certificates online.
